About Windsor Road Clinic
Windsor Road Private Clinic is a private mental health hospital in Baulkham Hills, Northwest Sydney. Our unit accommodates 25-beds and contributes to the provision of a multi-level psychiatric treatment program for adults 18+ and seniors equally.
Mental Health Services
Windsor Road Private Clinic provides a 21-day inpatient service to help you get the support you need. Once you have completed the inpatient program, you may choose to attend one or both of our outpatient programs to support you to maintain and further your recovery. The Equipped for Life program focuses on mental health, while the Equipped for Change program focusses on alcohol and other drugs. Both programs run for six weeks.
Our mental health treatment program has been developed to support the various stages of patient care. We place an emphasis on continuum of care, which means each patient has a tailored treatment plan to meet your individual needs.

As a fully accredited member of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) who work with us in establishing standards, procedures and compliance with the Australian National Standards and the National Standards for Mental Health Services. These standards and procedures underpin our primary goal to contribute to the provision of the best quality of service and care in collaboration with accredited Visiting Medical Officers. Access to services
Access to the services provided by Windsor Road Clinic are available via referral from:
- Your regular GP
- A local Hospital Emergency Department
- A medical specialist
- To self-refer, please call us on 9686 0808
Your GP will be able to assist you with obtaining a referral to a psychiatrist who is accredited at The Hills Private Hospital and who can organise your admission or enrolment into a day program at Windsor Road Private Clinic.
During your stay, you will be under the direct care of this private Consultant Psychiatrist who will from time to time be assisted by other accredited private specialists and our multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals.
Mental Health Treatment
The inpatient program is comprised of one-to-one therapy and group therapy sessions which incorporate a variety of evidence-based psychological theories including:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Schema Therapy
- Strengths-Based Approach
Inpatient psychiatric services are available to people who have experienced an exacerbation of symptoms where negative feelings are becoming more frequent. The inpatient program offers you a period of stabilisation within a supportive environment. Our multi-disciplinary team will shape a treatment program around your individual needs, and may involve a combination of medical, pharmacological and psychological therapy as well as rehabilitation.

- Group therapy (you want to participate)
- Empowerment (You are encouraged to take responsibility for all aspects of your health and wellbeing, depending on your capabilities)
