Inpatient psychiatric services are available to patients who have experienced an acute exacerbation of their psychiatric illness and require a period of stabilisation. Individually tailored treatment may involve a combination of medical, pharmacological and psychological therapy and rehabilitation.

The therapeutic approach is based on personal responsibility, group therapy and empowerment. This is evident in the inpatient treatment programs where every patient is encouraged to take responsibility for all aspects of their health and wellbeing, depending on their capabilities.

We believe that self-responsibility empowers the patient and ensures continued progress following discharge.
